3M™ VHB™ Tape 5906 is a double-sided foam tape using a modified acrylic adhesive. It’s a much easier permanent bonding solution than mechanical fasteners or liquid adhesives while providing a permanent seal against moisture and supporting the use of thinner, light weight, and dissimilar materials. The bond works with substrates ranging from low- to high-surface-energy such as various metals, glass, plastics, and paints. Its conformable foam supports good contact between substrates, even when slightly mismatched.
